West Ham United U23s finished off Group F in the Premier League Cup with another three points, securing a hard-fought 1-0 home win over Swansea City U23s.
Andriy Yarmolenko's header from an Armstrong Okoflex corner in added time at the end of the first half proved the key difference in the match, although a red card early in the second period for the Ukrainian meant the developmental side had to perform with just ten men for other 40 minutes.
A resolute defensive display for the young Hammers kept the Swans at bay, however, as the Irons capped their impressive group stage effort with another victory.
U23s Lead Coach Mark Robson took the opportunity to look at three regular U18s players, giving starts to Junior Robinson, Regan Clayton and Archie Woods, with the trio all offering strong showings for the side.
