A host of West Ham United talent across the first team and the Academy featured in international matches across Tuesday’s round of fixtures.
Lucas Paquetá was in action for Brazil, starting their 5-1 win over Tunisia at the Parc des Princes in Paris.
The Hammers playmaker has established himself as a vital cog in head coach Tite’s starting XI and was an influential figure on the right-side of attack.
Brazil took the lead on 11 minutes though Barcelona’s Raphinha, although Tunisia stuck back minutes later as Montassar Talbi levelled the contest.
However, the South American side raced into an unassailable lead before half-time. Tottenham’s Richarlison found the net before Paris-Saint Germain’s Neymar added a third from the penalty spot. Raphinha added his second – and Brazil’s fourth – before Tunisia had Dylan Bronn sent off to cap a dismal first-half.
Lucas Paquetá was substituted on half-time, and was replaced by Real Madrid’s Vinícius Júnior. Striker Pedro added a fifth for Brazil late in the second half to cap the result.
Czech duo Tomáš Souček and Vladimír Coufal were also in action for their country, starting the Czech Republic’s 2-1 loss away to Switzerland.
The hosts took a two-goal lead in the first half, netting twice in the space of two minutes through Remo Freuler and Breel Embolo, before Bayer Leverkusen’s Patrik Schick halved the deficit moments before the half-time whistle.
The Czech Republic pushed for a leveller and had a glorious opportunity just after the hour with a penalty kick, only for Souček to miss from 12 yards.
Defeat in Tuesday’s match means the Czech Republic finish bottom of UEFA Nations League Group A2 and have been relegated to League B.
Michail Antonio started and played 87 minutes for Jamaica in a 3-0 friendly defeat by Argentina in the United States.
The West Ham centre-forward led the line for the Reggae Boyz in New Jersey, but was unable to find a way through an Argentina defence that included Tottenham Hotspur's Cristian Romero and former Manchester City player Nicolás Otamendi.
City's Julián Álvarez put the South Americans ahead on 13 minutes before Lionel Messi added a quickfire double late on, either side of Antonio's withdrawal.
At U21s level, there was heartbreak for Conor Coventry and Mipo Odubeko as Republic of Ireland missed out on qualifying for the 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship following a penalty shoot-out defeat to Israel.
Having secured a 1-1 draw at home in the first leg of their qualifying contest, Ireland knew a positive result on the road would secure their first-ever outing at an U21s European competition, and Coventry once again led the side out into action.
A tense 90 minutes finished goalless, leading to extra-time, but neither side could break the deadlock, resulting in a penalty shoot-out for a place in the Finals.
Coventry stepped up first for the visitors, coolly dispatching his effort, but would be the only Irishman to find the net. Tyreik Wright, Evan Ferguson and Dawson Devoy all missed, allowing Israel to claim a 3-1 shoot-out win through Eden Kartsev, Daniel Peretz and Osher Davida.
On-loan Port Vale forward Odubeko was an unused substitute for the Irish.
Callum Marshall continued his fine goalscoring form for both Club and country as he helped Northern Ireland U19s secure a 2-0 win away to Moldova with another goal.
The Academy youngster struck on 72 minutes at the Sportpark Marsdijk to give his side the lead, while midfielder Conor Scannell added a second to ensure the victory.
Fellow West Ham Academy players Michael Forbes and Patrick Kelly were also involved in the starting XI for Tuesday’s match, with victory ensuring Northern Ireland’s progression to the elite round of the 2023 UEFA European U19 Championship qualification process.
Finally, Divin Mubama came off the bench for England U19s as the young Lions secured a 4-2 win away to Denmark.
Second-half goals from Sonny Perkins, George Hall, Omari Forson and Darko Gyabi secured the victory for England, who completed their own qualifying round for the UEFA Under-19 Championship with three wins from three games played.
