Łukasz Fabiański has been named in Poland's squad for their upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The West Ham United goalkeeper will be hoping to add to his 55 senior caps when Poland take on Hungary, Andorra and England in their opening Group I fixtures.

With former Queens Park Rangers and Swansea City manager Paulo Sousa recently installed as boss, Poland will first face Hungary in Budapest on Thursday 25 March before returning home to Warsaw to play Andorra three days later.

The camp finishes at Wembley on Wednesday 31 March, when Fabiański could come up against Hammers teammate Declan Rice.

The 35-year-old, who last week penned a new contract with the Club, will face competition from Juventus stopper Wojciech Szczęsny and Bologna keeper Łukasz Skorupski for the starting berth in goal.

Meanwhile, Hammers youngster Frederik Alves has been named in Denmark's U21 squad for the group stage of the 2021 UEFA U21 Championships.

This year's finals are being played in two parts, with the group phase taking place this month and the knockout rounds following in the summer.

21-year-old defender Alves already has five caps for his country at this level and is set to take on France, Iceland and Russia in Hungary as Denmark aim to book their quarter-final slot.
