West Ham United and Kidderminster Harriers may sit five rungs apart on the English football ladder, but they have a shared history, as Hammers legends Alvin Martin and Martin Allen recall.
The duo played in our FA Cup victory at Kidderminster's Aggborough Stadium back in 1994, and as the current-day Hammers prepare to return to Worcestershire this weekend, they shared their memories in an episode of Talking Point, presented by Lyca Mobile.
Reflecting on the 1-0 victory at Aggborough 28 years ago, Allen said: "It's a tough day out. Every tackle, every throw in gets cheered by the fans, and thankfully from a brilliant Keith Rowland cross, Lee Chapman at the far post scored.
"We won 1-0, they had a couple of chances, a penalty that should have been given but the ref thankfully didn't. We've all seen the upsets over the years and it's a tough game."
You can tell the current West Ham team is a united group of players and that has invigorated the crowd when I've been watching games

Martin made his comeback from a spell out injured that day, and he remembered that got him out of some hard graft when the Hammers' coach broke down en route to the game!
"We had a pre-match meal in the Midlands," he said. "I hadn't played for three-and-a-half months and was ahead of schedule. But when we got on the coach, it wouldn't start.
"Bonzo and Harry said, 'All off', and we started pushing the coach. Because I hadn't played for three months, Harry said to me, 'Don't you dare go and push that coach'.
"He got me out of the way and he let Martin and all the youngsters do it!"
Fast forward to the present and Allen is confident David Moyes' men can also get the job done.
"What I like about this West Ham team is their attitude and their commitment for unity," he explained. "You can tell it's a united group of players and that has invigorated the crowd when I've been watching games.
"We've got enough spirit and enough quality. It's very exciting times for the club."
