Team News…

Divin Mubama will once again be available for Mark Robson’s development side after serving a three-match domestic suspension. The striker received a red card in the Premier League 2 match with Everton.

With fixtures coming thick and fast throughout October, lead coach Robson may opt to make changes to his side after Saturday’s Premier League 2 match with Crystal Palace and another league game, against Chelsea, set for this Saturday.

Opposition…

After coming so close to securing promotion last season, the 2022/23 campaign has started slower for Milton Keynes Dons.

Finishing third in EFL League One last season, just one point outside the automatic promotion places, MK Dons could not earn a place in the Championship through the play-offs.

The new season has not seen the best of the Buckhinghamshire-based side. The side have already endured five defeats this season, putting them in 18th in League One. A 4-0 win away to Morecambe prior to the international break may provide a platform to build on.

A host of connections with the Hammers, particularly the Academy, can be found throughout the MK Dons side. Manager Liam Manning is a former Academy coach and previously led the development side, before departing the Hammers to take up a role with New York City FC in 2109.

In Nathan Holland and Dan Kemp, Manning has signed two wingers he knew well from his time in the West Ham Academy. Former West Ham goalkeeper David Martin has also recently signed for the League One side.
