West Ham United's dreams of reaching the UEFA Europa League final were dashed by Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday night.
The Hammers had to play for over 70 minutes of the semi-final second leg tie with ten men after Aaron Cresswell was sent-off for pulling back Jens Petter Hauge, and they battled gamely, but ultimately could not overcome their German opponents.
Rafael Borré swept home in the 26th minute to give his side a 1-0 win on the night and 3-1 aggregate success.
