West Ham United took to the skies on Sunday evening for the second part of the men's first-team pre-season schedule.
After a week of hard work in the Scottish town of St Andrews, David Moyes, his staff and players met at Southend Airport for a 90-minute flight to the city of Geneva in the far west of Switzerland - and Club photographer Jimmy Griffiths was there to capture their smiling faces!
From there, the staff and squad boarded a coach and crossed the border into France and headed along the south shore of Lake Geneva to the town of Évian-les-Bains.
Training sessions will resume on Monday morning, with Moyes expected to put his players through their paces multiple times a day to build fitness levels ahead of the 2022/23 season.
As was the case in St Andrews, the group will feature a combination of senior stars and Academy of Football prospects, with the Club's current internationals due to report for pre-season testing and training at Rush Green later this week following their delayed summer breaks.
The five-night trip in Évian will culminate with the Irons' opening pre-season fixture, which will see the squad head back over the border to take on Swiss Super League side Servette at the 30,000-capacity Stade de Genève on Friday evening. Tickets for that match are available to buy here.
