Declan Rice in action against Italy

Rice and Bowen play in England draw

Declan Rice and Jarrod Bowen were both involved as England continued their UEFA Nations League campaign by drawing 0-0 with Italy on Saturday evening.

Rice started in central midfield, playing 65 minutes of the Molineux clash, while Bowen replaced Mason Mount at the same time as the Three Lions strived for a way through.

The goal would not come however, as Gareth Southgate's men picked up their second point from three Group A3 matches to date - after losing to Hungary and drawing in Germany.

Both teams had their chances, with Tammy Abraham going close early on, before Mason Mount rattled the crossbar with an effort from inside the area.

At the other end Aaron Ramsdale had to save from Sandro Tonali, while in the second half Raheem Sterling knocked over from close range.

The deadlock refused to be broken, with both teams settling for a point in the end,

England return to action on Tuesday - again at Wolves' home ground - when they host Hungary in their final game of the season.
