West Ham United manager David Moyes makes four changes to his team for Wednesday night’s Emirates FA Cup fifth-round tie at Manchester United.
Michail Antonio returns to the starting line-up in place of Danny Ings, who is ineligible having featured for Aston Villa in their third-round defeat by Stevenage.
Alphonse Areola, Emerson and Pablo Fornals are the other three players to make the XI, as Lukasz Fabiański misses out with a fractured eye-socket, Vladimír Coufal is sidelined by a heel injury and Jarrod Bowen drops to the substitutes' bench.
Areola, who has made ten appearances in cup competitions for the Hammers this term, was also a starter when the Hammers triumphed 1-0 at Old Trafford in the Carabao Cup third round last term.
He was joined on that occasion by Ben Johnson, who starts this evening at right-back, while the rest of the back-line for this FA Cup tie is made up of Nayef Aguerd, Angelo Ogbonna and Emerson.
In midfield, captain Declan Rice is joined by Tomáš Souček and Paquetá, with Fornals and Saïd Benrahma supporting Antonio in attack.
The No9 is making his 26th career FA Cup appearance and 16th for the Irons. Two of the previous 15 came against Manchester United in the sixth round back in 2015/16.
Among Moyes’ options on the bench are the likes of Bowen, Manuel Lanzini and Gianluca Scamacca, with youngsters Joseph Anang, Kamarai Swyer and Divin Mubama also in the matchday squad.
Lanzini, of course, scored the winner here in the Carabao Cup third round in September 2021 - our first victory at Old Trafford since Carlos Tevez completed the Great Escape in May 2007.
