Craig Dawson makes his first start of the season as West Ham United take on Silkeborg in the UEFA Europa Conference League on Thursday night.
The centre-back missed the early part of the campaign with a thigh injury, but returned from the bench in the Group B opening 3-1 win over FCSB a week ago and is now ready to play from the start.
He will join Thilo Kehrer and Aaron Cresswell, making his 300th appearance in Claret & Blue, in defence, while Vladimír Coufal and Emerson Palmieri – who scored his first West Ham goal in that victory against FCSB – line-up at wing-back.
Declan Rice skippers the team in midfield, where Club record signing Lucas Paquetá also features, alongside Manuel Lanzini and Maxwel Cornet.
Gianluca Scamacca, who scored in both legs of the play-off round against Silkeborg’s Danish compatriots Viborg, is up front.
David Moyes has a wealth of experience on his bench, with the likes of Michail Antonio, Jarrod Bowen, Saïd Benrahma, Pablo Fornals, Tomáš Souček, Angelo Ogbonna and Kurt Zouma among his eleven substitutes.
