West Ham United is deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The Queen reigned for over 70 years, guiding the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth through seven decades, leading by example and serving as an inspiration to us all throughout her long life of public service.
Vice-Chairman Baroness Brady said: “On behalf of the Directors, management, players, staff, supporters and the entire West Ham United family, we would like to express our deep and heartfelt sadness at the passing of Her Majesty The Queen.
“Her Majesty has been a reassuring and faithful constant throughout our lives. Her Majesty led Britain and the Commonwealth with grace, dignity and selflessness for 70 years, and her life of devoted service was an inspiration to everyone.
“She was also a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and our thoughts and condolences are with her family as they come to terms with their profound loss.”
Rest In Peace, Your Majesty.
