West Ham United Women will travel to Ipswich Town in the quarter-finals of the Vitality Women's FA Cup.
The draw was announced live on Morning Live on BBC One on Tuesday 1 March, and the Hammers will now look forward to taking on the The Tractor Girls.
Olli Harder's side entered the competition at the fourth round stage, beating Sheffield United 4-1 at Bramall Lane to advance. They then faced an in-form Reading side in the fifth round, emerging from the Select Car Leasing Stadium victorious thanks to Dagný Brynjarsdóttir’s extra-time strike.
West Ham United supporters will have fond memories of reaching the FA Cup final in the team's first professional season, and this is the first time that they have reached the quarter-final stage since that cup run.
Ipswich have already beaten five teams to reach this stage, and overcame Southampton on penalties to reach the quarter-finals, and the FA Women's National League South side will certainly provide another tough test for the Hammers.
The tie is scheduled to be played on Sunday 20 March 2022.
