West Ham United Women will return for pre-season training ahead of the 2022/23 campaign in the second week of July.
The buzz around the Hammers, who secured a record Barclays Women's Super League (WSL) points total on their way to an impressive sixth-place finish last term, has been growing over the close-season.
The Irons are planning to build on those achievements under the guidance of a new head coach, former West Ham and England defender Paul Konchesky, and with an exciting and talented squad of players.
Among them will be versatile winger Lisa Evans and Halle Houssein, who have both completed permanent moves to east London from WSL rivals Arsenal.
With the summer transfer window open until 8 September, the Hammers are expected to make more signings between now and then.
The women's game will take centre-stage this summer, when England plays host to the UEFA Women's Euro 2022 finals, with West Ham's Hawa Cissoko and Dagný Brynjarsdóttir (pictured) in action for France and Iceland respectively in the 16-team tournament, which runs from 6-31 July.
By the time the final takes place at Wembley Stadium, Konchesky and his squad will be back in pre-season training at Chadwell Heath and have also learned their opening WSL opponents, with the fixtures for the 2022/23 season set to be announced in mid-July.
The new campaign will kick-off over the weekend of 9-11 September, with each of the 12 competing clubs playing 22 WSL matches over the course of the season, which ends on Sunday 28 May 2023. A winter break will take place between 19 December and 13 January.
West Ham will also compete in the Vitalty Women's FA Cup and FA Women's League Cup, having reached the semi-finals and quarter-finals of each respectively in 2021/22.
With exciting matches in prospect against some of the best teams not just in England, but in Europe, you can be part of the action with a West Ham United Women's Season Ticket, with prices starting from just £50 for Adults and £30 for Juniors.
