The hard work continues for West Ham United's players on their pre-season training camp in Scotland.
To kick-start a busy day of triple training sessions, David Moyes took his players down to the famous West Sands beach in St Andrews for an early morning run.
Scene of the iconic Chariots of Fire beach running sequence, it was the Hammers' turn to hit the broad sands of the Scottish east coast to get their legs moving in the morning.
The run served an important purpose of preparing the muscles for an intensive day ahead of football and fitness sessions both on the pitches and in the gym.
Our photographer took to the beach to capture the session and you can see a gallery of images by clicking on the picture above.
