West Ham United duo Declan Rice and Jarrod Bowen have been named in the England squad for their upcoming UEFA Nations League matches against Italy and Thilo Kehrer’s Germany.
The Three Lions face the double header of matches as their final tests before this winter's FIFA World Cup finals, with Rice and Bowen both hoping to book their places in Qatar.
Gareth Southgate's men first head to Milan to take on European champions Italy in Nations League A Group 3 at San Siro on Friday 23 September, before facing Germany in their final group match at Wembley three days later.
England currently sit fourth in the four-team group and need a strong showing to avoid relegation to League B.
Rice will be looking to add to his 32 games for his country, while Bowen made his first four England appearances this summer, all in the Nations League.
Germany also face leaders Hungary in Leipzig on Friday 23 September.
Two victories would see 20-cap Kehrer and company top the group and go through to the Nations League Finals to be held next June.
