Team News: Aguerd, Rice and Bowen set to feature at Reading

West Ham United manager David Moyes will take a near full-strength 23-man squad to Reading for Saturday’s pre-season match.

The Hammers boss could hand a debut to summer signing Nayef Aguerd at the Select Car Leasing Stadium following the Morocco international centre-back’s arrival in east London.

France goalkeeper Alphonse Areola could make his first appearance since completing a permanent transfer from Paris Saint-Germain, while midfielder Flynn Downes is set to appear for a second time after playing his first game in Claret and Blue at Ipswich Town on Tuesday evening.
