West Ham United Women will face fellow Barclays Women’s Super League side Liverpool in a pre-season friendly on Sunday 21 August.
The Hammers will take on the Reds at the Loughborough University Stadium as part of a training camp ahead of the new season.
The fixture against former manager, Matt Beard’s newly promoted side will conclude a three day stay in Leicestershire – where the Irons will making the most of the state-of-the-art facilities on offer at the University campus.
Paul Konchesky’s team will be looking forward to challenging themselves against tough opposition – a team that includes former Hammers Captain, Gilly Flaherty and Irish forward, Leanne Kiernan.
West Ham United supporters will be able to watch the game in Loughborough, with details on tickets to be released in due course.
Before they head North, Konchesky’s Hammers will play three matches against local opposition, with pre-season games lined up against Billericay Town and Enfield Town, with tickets for those matches on sale now!
The Irons will also take on Hashtag United on Wednesday 3 August, with tickets available to purchase on the turnstiles at Parkside Stadium in Aveley, Essex.
