West Ham United Women can confirm that Yui Hasegawa has joined Manchester City on a permanent transfer.
The 25-year-old Japanese midfielder departs East London for the Academy Stadium, with the Club receiving a six-figure fee, plus add-ons.
Hasegawa helped the Hammers finish sixth in the Barclays Women’s Super League last season - their highest ever finish and their highest points tally since joining the top division in 2018 – as well as reaching the semi-finals of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup.
Everyone at West Ham United would like to wish Yui well with her move to the Citizens.
