Dagný Brynjarsdóttir will wear the No10 shirt for West Ham United Women in the upcoming 2022/23 campaign!
The Icelandic midfielder had previously worn the No32 shirt for the Club, but has made the decision to change numbers after the departure of Kateřina Svitková this summer, who previously wore the No10 shirt.
Brynjarsdóttir is a life-long West Ham United fan, and revealed that the number has important significance to her and has been inspired by a former Club legend!

🗣️ Here's why @dagnybrynjars has made the decision to change her number! pic.twitter.com/KSiYD8nJ08
"This season I've taken No10 because it has always been my number, apart from the last year and a half here at West Ham.
"I grew up in Iceland playing football with the boys and they would always let me be the No10, my birthday is on the 10 August, so it's always been favourable to me.
"I was a striker growing up and Paolo Di Canio was always one of my favourites and he wore the number ten here at West Ham. I'm also that number for the Iceland national team as well.
"So when it became available, there was no questions, I wanted that No10 shirt.
"I'm delighted to be able to wear this number for West Ham."
