Enfield Town Ladies v West Ham United Women

West Ham United Women are back in action in their second match of pre-season when they travel to North London to face Enfield Town.
Paul Konchesky's team got off to a winning start last weekend when they cruised past Billericay Town at New Lodge – and they will now look to add further valuable minutes into their legs at the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The Towners play in the FA Women’s National League South East Divison One, the same division as Hashtag United – another upcoming pre-season match for the Hammers.
Kick-off is scheduled for 7.45pm on Wednesday evening.

West Ham United supporters can attend the match at the QEII Stadium, with tickets available through the Enfield Town Ladies official website priced at £3.50 if they are bought in advance. Prices rise to £4 if purchased on the turnstiles on the day of the game.

Travel…
To get to Enfield from London by car, travel via the A406, M11 or M25.
There are two railway stations to choose from, the closest being Enfield Town Stations, which is an 18 minute walk to the ground. Southbury Station, which is also located nearby is a 23-minute walk to the ground. Both stations are located on the London Overground.
However, Wednesday July 27 will see nationwide strikes by the RMT Union, with services significantly reduced.

Team News…
Paul Konchesky will be without a number of senior players for the trip North to Enfield. Kate Longhurst, Lucy Parker and Emma Snerle all missed the match against Billericay on Saturday – and they are unlikely to be involved against the Towners.
New signings Kirsty Smith and Jess Ziu also missed the win in Essex, and it’s not yet known if they will be available.
Konchesky offered an update on those that are currently on the treatment table in his post-match reaction after the game against Billericay.
Dagný Brynjarsdóttir and Hawa Cissoko will both be unavailable due to their participation at UEFA Women's Euro 2022 with Iceland and France respectively.
Several of the Irons’ young talents could also be involved once again, with the Academy trio of Amy Jarvis, Chloe Brand and Rebecca Chitole-Porter expected to play a part in proceedings.
The Opposition…
Enfield Town finished in 10th place in the FA Women's National League South East Division One last season, the same division in which Billericay clinched the title.
First-Team Manager, Dean Perrett was appointed manager of the Towners in May, having previously guided Harlow Town to the FA Women’s National League title for the first time in their history back in 2019/20.
