Gilly Flaherty | Hitting 100 for West Ham United

It was a special weekend for West Ham United Women’s skipper Gilly Flaherty.

The defender, who was the Club’s first-ever signing on turning professional back in the summer of 2018, reached a special milestone against Manchester City on Saturday morning, as she made her 100th competitive appearance in Claret and Blue.

Flaherty’s achievement was marked before kick-off in the 2-0 home Barclays FA Women’s Super League (WSL) defeat, as she was presented with a framed shirt by manager Olli Harder in front of the home supporters at Victoria Road.

The England international sat down with teammate and lifelong West Ham fan Kate Longhurst to look back on some of her favourite moments at the Club. You can watch the full video here!

There is another big moment coming up, too, as Flaherty and her fellow Hammers seek a place in the Club's second Women's FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium.
