Fresh after winning the Barclays FA Women’s Super League Goal of the Month for April, Yui Hasegawa’s wonderful goal against Reading has now been nominated for the Barclays FA WSL Goal of the Season award.
The Japanese international what turned out to be the winner in the 2-1 victory against the Royals at the Select Car Leasing Stadium and has been recognised for her fantastic finish at the end of the campaign.
It was the midfielders second goal of the season, following on from another brilliant goal which she scored against Manchester City back in October 2021.
Hasegawa is up against tough opposition for the award, with the likes of of Katie McCabe, Caroline Weir and Sam Kerr all in the running to win!
