Team news
Olli Harder will have nearly a full squad to choose from for the clash with Ipswich.
Maisy Barker will not play any part in proceedings, as she continues with her recovery. Grace Garrad is another that has been sidelined for quite some time, but she may well bit fit enough for a small cameo in Suffolk.
Grace Fisk made the best possible return from a small knock to score an injury time equaliser against Manchester United. The 24-year-old could make her 50th appearance for West Ham United if she features against Ipswich.
Further team news will be revealed at 11.30am on Sunday, an hour before kick-off on our social media channels and on whufc.com.
The opposition - Ipswich Town
Ipswich Town have been in fine form over the last couple of months and will certainly be up for the challenge of facing the Hammers on Sunday afternoon.
The Tractor Girls are unbeaten in their last ten matches in all competitions, and in the FA Cup they have already beaten MK Dons, Crawley Wasps, AFC Wimbledon, Newcastle United and Southampton to reach the quarterfinals
Unbeaten in their last ten matches in all competitions, Ipswich are managed by Joe Sheehan, who made the step up to manage the first-team having previously been in charge of the U21s.
And Ipswich have a strong emphasis on developing young talent, with their development team even beating the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City under his stewardship.
One player that Hammers fans may remember is Olivia Smith. The full-back joined the Hammers in January 2020, appearing on the bench twice for the Irons the following month in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League in defeats to Chelsea and Reading.
What they’re saying
West Ham United manager Olli Harder: “It’s going to be a tough game. They have a really talented manager and a good group of players that are doing really well.
“Of course, all the expectation is on us and we know that they will be well supported. It’s an exciting game, and we need to go there and make sure that we’re at our best in order to progress.”
