West Ham United stepped up preparations for Thursday's UEFA Europa Conference League Group B fixture at Silkeborg IF with an intense training session at Rush Green on Monday.
The Hammers kicked-off their group-stage campaign with a 3-1 win over Romanian club FCSB at London Stadium last Thursday on an emotional evening when the Claret and Blue Army paid a moving tribute to the late Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Jarrod Bowen, Emerson Palmieri and Michail Antonio were on target in that game and were among the players in action as David Moyes put his squad through their paces to start the week.
Football was postponed in the UK over the weekend following The Queen's passing, with the Irons returning to competitive action in Denmark on Thursday evening, when Moyes' men will take on a Silkeborg team who finished third in the Superliga last season and who beat local rivals AGF 1-0 on Sunday to rise to the same position in the table after nine rounds of matches this term.
