West Ham United make three changes to the starting XI from their last Premier League outing as Saïd Benrahma, Thilo Kehrer and Paquetá return for Arsenal’s trip to London Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Paquetá returns having missed the trip to Fulham a week ago, although the No11 featured from the bench in West Ham's 1-1 draw with KAA Gent on Thursday.
Alongside the Brazil midfielder, the inclusion of Kehrer and Benrahma sees Pablo Fornals and Danny Ings drop to the bench, while Angelo Ogbonna and Nayef Aguerd are not included in the matchday squad due to knocks.
Vladimír Coufal, meanwhile, is set for his 100th West Ham United appearance, while Łukasz Fabiański, who made 78 outings across seven years at Emirates Stadium, will face his former club.
With the No1 named between the sticks for a 28th Premier League fixture in 2022/23, the defence sees one change from the side that beat Fulham 1-0 at Craven Cottage last weekend, with Ogbonna absent.
Coufal, Kehrer, Zouma and Cresswell, who recorded his 100th Premier League win last weekend, is the defence that hopes to lead the Hammers to their first win over Arsenal since 2019. Zouma scored in the Club’s last league outing at London Stadium, while Coufal could cap a century of appearances for West Ham with his first Irons goal.
Having scored his first senior West Ham goal in a 1-0 win over Arsenal in January 2019, Declan Rice starts in midfield alongside Tomáš Souček and Paquetá, who is set for his 30th appearance for the Club. The skipper, meanwhile, seeks his third Premier League goal of the season as West Ham aim to stretch their unbeaten run in all competitions to three matches.
Searching for his tenth goal of the season, Michail Antonio will make successive starts in the league. The No9 will be supported by Saïd Benrahma and Jarrod Bowen in attack. Bowen has eight goal contributions in the 2022/23 Premier League.
Looking for consecutive league wins, West Ham’s substitutes’ bench seats six international players with Alphonse Areola, Maxwel Cornet, Emerson, Pablo Fornals, Manuel Lanzini and Danny Ings, who scored in Belgium in midweek, included.
Goalkeeper Joseph Anang, Ben Johnson and Flynn Downes complete the squad.
