West Ham United Women are pleased to confirm the first three matches of their pre-season schedule as we gear up to the beginning of the Barclays Women’s Super League season.
The Irons will return for pre-season testing on the week commencing the 11 July – and will then spend just under two weeks getting up to speed again under new manager, Paul Konchesky.
As confirmed just over a week ago, Konchesky will take his team to one of his former sides, Billericay Town for the opening match of their pre-season schedule on Saturday 23 July.
The Blues were crowned champions of the FA Women's National League South East Division One last season - sealing the title after winning 20 of their 24 matches in the competition.
Two other matches will follow in quick succession as the Hammers look to build fitness into their legs ready for another exciting season in the WSL.
West Ham face off against Enfield Town at the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium on Wednesday 27 July. The Towners, who competed in the same division as Billericay last season finished in 10th position in the final standings.
The Hammers’ next fixture takes place on Wednesday 3 August, when they make the short journey to Parkside, Aveley, the new home of Hashtag United. The Tags finished one point behind Billericay in the league table last season and will provide another strong test ahead of the upcoming campaign.
