West Ham United Women partner with Loughborough University


West Ham United Women is delighted to announce a partnership with Loughborough University as Official Higher Education Partner, one of the first partnerships of its kind. 

The long-term partnership will see the University provide an alternative education pathway for West Ham United Women’s players and coaches through Scholarships and BTECs at Loughborough’s London campus.  

As part of the agreement, the two institutions will also collaborate on a world-leading research project utilising performance analysis to define the future of the Women’s game. Alongside this, the partnership will see knowledge sharing with West Ham United Women’s coaches and backroom staff, drawing upon the team’s vast experience in supporting dual career athletes.  
 
In addition, the team will play a first-team friendly on campus at the University Stadium. 
West Ham United Chief Commercial Officer, Nathan Thompson, said: “I am proud to announce our partnership between Loughborough University and West Ham United Women.
