Sunday 8 May 2022, 12pm BST
West Ham United Women will be hoping to end the 2021/22 season on a high when they take on Arsenal at the Chigwell Construction Stadium on Sunday.
The Hammers know that their opponents will provide a stern test, as the Gunners still have hopes of securing the Barclays FA Women’s Super League title if Chelsea slip up against Manchester United on the final day.
But for the Irons, their motivation is for them to look to pick up their first ever win over Arsenal since turning professional back in 2018.

Lucy Parker, Anna Leat and Emma Snerle are unlikely to feature, with all three missing for the trip to Manchester United.

The Opposition
Arsenal are hoping that Chelsea slip up against Manchester United at Kingsmeadow, with their London neighbours currently topping the FA WSL table.
The Gunners have been in scintillating form in recent matches in the league, having only lost one match all season – which was a shock 2-0 defeat to Birmingham City at St Andrews in January.
Jonas Eidevall is enjoying quite the season at Arsenal, and he will be hoping to cap off his debut season with a trophy on Sunday.
The 38-year-old took his first steps into management as a 23-year-old assistant coach at men’s side Lunds BK, before taking the head-coach role three-and-a-half years later and guiding them to the 2009 second-division title.
A switch to women’s football followed when he joined Rosengard, first as an assistant and then as the head coach, achieving back-to-back Damallsvenskan titles in 2013 and 2014.
The Swede then spent a brief spell as Henrik Larsson's assistant at Helsingborgs, before returning to Rosengard and leading them to the 2018 Swedish Cup and their first league title in four years in 2019.
Since arriving at the Gunners, he has only lost one match in the FA WSL, a 2-0 loss against Birmingham City at St Andrews in January 2022.

One to Watch
Vivianne Miedema: A forward who has dropped into midfield this season to chief creator, Miedema still remains the most dangerous threat for the Gunners. The 25-year-old has scored over 100 goals for Arsenal, and needed only 110 games to reach that milestone. An incredible player on her day, she is likely to affect the game in some way, shape or form on Sunday.
Beth Mead: Mead has been with the Gunners since 2017, and has enjoyed one of her best goalscoring campaigns this term, with ten in the FA WSL. Mead began her career with Sunderland, where she scored an incredible 77 goals in 78 appearances for the Black Cats. The forward is also a regular for the Lionesses, having played 35 times for her country.
Katie McCabe: Another player that has been on the Gunners’ books for a very long time, McCabe joined way back in December 2015. She flourished under Joe Montemurro in the 2018/19 season, where she played the most minutes of any player in the squad and helped them secure the FA WSL title. The Republic of Ireland skipper has five goals and six assists this season for Arsenal.
