West Ham Women celebrate vs Reading

Women's Team News: Seven changes for visit of Brighton & Hove Albion

Olli Harder has named the West Ham United team that will face Brighton & Hove Albion this afternoon.

There are seven changes from the side that beat Ipswich Town in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup last weekend, as Harder elects to return to what many would consider to be a full-strength side.

Hawa Cissoko returns in the backline, whilst Kateřina Svitková and Kate Longhurst also return.

As do Yui Hasegawa, Tameka Yallop, Dagný Brynjarsdóttir and Adriana Leon – all of whom will be hoping to help the Hammers to three points.

Mackenzie Arnold starts the game between the posts, behind a back three of Cissoko, Grace Fisk, and the skipper, Gilly Flaherty.

The aforementioned Longhurst and Svitková look set to continue in the wing-back areas, whilst Abbey-Leigh Stringer, Hasegawa and Yallop will all occupy positions in the midfield.

Brynjarsdóttir will support Leon upfront, with the Canadian forward looking for her third goal of the season.

On the bench, Harder has Anna Leat, Zaneta Wyne, Lisa Evans, Lucy Parker, Mel Filis, Lois Joel, Grace Garrad and Halle Houssein to call upon if he wishes to make changes.

Of those not in the squad, Emily Moore, Maisy Barker, Emma Snerle and Claudia Walker are all currently on the treatment table.

Barker’s is the most severe, with the defender expected to be out until the end of the season.

Moore, Snerle and Walker have minor issues and are not expected to be out long-term.

West Ham United: Arnold, Fisk, Flaherty, Cissoko, Stringer, Hasegawa, Yallop, Longhurst, Svitková, Brynjarsdóttir, Leon.

Substitutes: Leat, Wyne, Evans, Parker, Filis, Joel, Garrad, Houssein.

If you can’t make it to the match, then you can watch live on the FA Player.
