West Ham United is committed to helping local organisations to thrive.
The Club wants to help deliver the Olympic Legacy, regeneration in Newham, and improve standards of living to creating a flourishing economy.
This will deliver opportunities, support our community, and help us to provide employability and career pathways.
In supporting local enterprise, the Club contributes in a number of ways:
- £15 million of supply chain spending with local Living Wage employers
- 2,700 jobs created by West Ham United in Stratford
- Just under half of all staff are residents of boroughs local to the Club
- Delivering a sporting legacy by lead-funding the Newham Athletics Network which offers a route into elite athletics
- Aside from the Club’s official charity, the West Ham United Foundation, it has seven charity partners (DT38 Foundation, Moore Family Foundation, Bobby Moore Fund, Blesma, Ambition Aspire Achieve, Richard House Children’s Hospice and Saint Francis Hospice)
