Young people are facing more and more challenges, particularly in the local area with high crime rates and the ongoing issue of knife-crime.  To combat this, West Ham United is helping to reduce anti-social behaviour and offer live-changing opportunities to local youngsters;

• Over 2,500 young people engaged in the Premier League Kicks programme last season, which has a long history of using the power of football and the value of sports participation to help hard-to-reach youngsters in some of the most high-need areas.
• In addition, more than 15,000 pupils ages 10 to 16 have been given opportunities in mentoring and academic support through the Moore Family Foundation.
• Over 700 youngsters took part in the Youth Investment Fund programme’s fun, physical and educational activities, which helps to break social barriers
• More than 250 students across 15 schools engaged in the PL Enterprise programme last season
• 555 participants engaged in Lycamobile six-a-side tournaments across Newham, Basildon and Barking and Dagenham last season
• 22 youths engaged in pilot NCS programme providing outdoor recreational activity and skills development, culminating in a successful social action project.
